Supreme court continued the hearing on the case related to the rift in Shiv Sena. CJI DY
Chandrachud is leading the bench and hearing the matter. Along with his the other members of
the bench are Justice MR Shah, Krishna Murari, Hima Kohli and PS Narashimha.
On February 21, the bench began considering the case on its merits. On February 16, it made the
decision to postpone a ruling on the preliminary question of greater bench reference and instead
resolve it concurrently with the case's merits.
For the Uddhav side, senior attorney Kapil Sibal concluded his submissions over the course of
three days. On February 23, senior attorney Dr. Abhishek Manu Singhvi began presenting the
case for Uddhav. The Shinde side's senior attorneys Neeraj Kishan Kaul, Mahesh Jethmalani,
and Maninder Singh have concluded their arguments.
