The All India Lawyers' Association for Justice (AILAJ) has written a letter to

the Bar Council of India and the Bar Council of Delhi, to urge them to ensure

that the state bar council limits their enrollment fees to Rs.750 until the courts

decide the same.

AILAJ has stated that exorbitant fees charged is creating a hurdle for students

from marginalized society to enter into the legal profession.

There is a lack of uniformity in enrollment fees and the bar council needs to

give attention to this issue.
